We were very sad to learn last fall that the mill where this yarn is spun was closing. We managed to purchase 4 kilos of yarn before they closed, but this spring we'll be dyeing our last batch of Arietta.
Pre-orders for this yarn are now closed, and all pre-ordered yarn will be shipped by May 15. Any yarn that is still available after pre-orders have been filled will be listed here later this spring.
One of our most luxurious yarns, Arietta is a light and airy lace weight wool and silk blend. Its subtle colour variation adds texture and depth to lace knitting, and the generous yardage makes it possible to knit a scarf with just 50g of yarn, or a shawl or stole with 100g.
We recommend using a swift when winding this yarn. If you don't have access to one, we can wind your yarn into cakes before shipping for a small fee.

The Millicent Capelet comes in three sizes and can be closed with a clasp to keep it securely on your shoulders. The wool and silk blend of our Arietta yarn keeps the delicate lace light and airy, and one skein will allow you to make any of the three sizes of capelet. Shown in the Waterfall colourway.
